Album Cover & Zoetrope Vinyl
This project captures Jack Van Cleaf's album "Fruit from the Trees" through materiality and rhythm. Hello Bloomie Serif and Cedarville Cursive typefaces convey folk music's warmth and human imperfections. Derived from risograph printer inks: sunflower, fluorescent pink, and moss were selected to reflect the album's emotions. Imagery of bright colors and flowing moss line art create rhythm. The risograph printing process adds materiality, with slight misalignments and paper texture embodying the human spirit. In conclusion, this design embodies the album's essence through comforting typefaces, nostalgic colors, and the physicality of risograph printing.
